Livestock Hay Feeder with Grain Pan
This livestock feeder is designed to feed both hay and grain in cattle or dairy operations, as well as for use in pasture feeding. The heavy-duty frame is made with 2" square, 16-gauge tubing for incredible strength and durability. The upper bars of the hay rack hold the hay for consumption, while the feeding pan below catches any loose and falling hay so it does not become waste. The feeding pan can be used for feeding grain or minerals as well.
The powder-coated finish and very heavy-duty design make this a long-lasting, incredibly tough feeder that can handle large groups of rowdy livestock. The unique design with the grain trough located under the hay rack keeps hay from reaching the ground, minimizing waste, and also offers the extra benefit of the ability to feed supplements to your animals as well.
This large and practically indestructible hay feeder is also a convenient mineral feeder for all of your farm and ranch's large livestock. The hay rack bars are spaced 10-5/8" apart, and you may use either round or square hay bales in the rack. Below is a feeding pan that catches falling hay and is also designed to be a livestock mineral feeder. The inside bars have a V-type center that pushes the hay to the outside of the feeder, where livestock can reach it, while the second set of bars keeps it contained and prevents your cattle from climbing up into the feeder. The result is a savings of 1/4 to 1/2 of your hay bales from waste.
