Heating pads provide a warm, comfortable surface for growing hogs and pigs. These durable heat pads are water-tight and provide an evenly heated surface below the animal. They don't have the dangers that heating lamps create and are much more energy efficient. With a heating pad, you're creating heat at the surface to supply warmth directly to those who need it. It doesn't first heat the surrounding air, trying to then warm the hogs or pigs. No broken bulbs or fire hazards that it creates with a heating pad.

The fiberglass-reinforced plastic composite material is flame-retardant and easy to clean. They have a built-in tread surface for secure footing, and the evenly heated pad keeps piglets from 'grouping' and huddling near your sow for warmth.

These durable pads are built to create heat for piglets and create a warm area for them to lie and rest. When active, the pads will stay approximately 30-35 degrees above the surrounding air temperature for farrowing, while the nursery pads will maintain about 20-25 degrees above the air temperatures.
