A manual headgate is preferred by many to manage their livestock herd. This heavy-duty cattle head gate also has shoulder bars that are spring-loaded to dissipate any forward momentum or shock from livestock shoulders. The yoke system eliminates any possible choking. Its easy operation allows for single-hand opening and the friction-lock system will keep the handle from flying out of your hand. The large 28-inch opening as measured at the top and the bottom is one of the widest produced today. The lock mechanism is hydraulic and keeps the gate quiet and has a non-binding opening and closing mechanism. Weighing in at 320 pounds, this is a stable and sturdy headgate for heavy-duty use.
