Watercolor portraits make wonderful gifts – to those you love or to yourself.   Commemorate your child’s first show ribbon by surprising them with a watercolor of their winner.   Hang the portrait in the trophy room next to your champion’s ribbons. Honor the memory of a favorite pet – your’s or a friend’s.  

All watercolors are painted on 140# Arches paper.   They are presented with a neutral-colored, acid-free mat and mounted on archival backing ready for your frame.  Please indicate which style appeals to you – white or tinted.   Detailed backgrounds are extra and can be discussed during the ordering process.

Simply e-mail up to three photos of your animal.  Since eyes are very important in capturing an animal’s personality, please try to get their expression in your shots.   Identify which portrait is your favorite if there is a particular pose you like.   Please choose either head portrait or full body (larger sized portraits are best for these depictions).   Please let us know if you would like a dedication on the front or back

Paintings are generally completed and sent within three weeks after receiving your photos; a more specific time will be provided when your order is received.   Timing may be longer prior to holiday seasons.    All costs and delivery date will be outlined for you before I begin work, and you will receive an e-mailed photo of the completed work, for your approval, before the watercolor is mailed.   I do retain copyright and reproduction rights on the artwork though, of course, you have title and ownership of the original artwork.
