A patent-pending polypropylene based non-woven perforated fabric metalized on one side. Temptrol reflects 95% of the radiant heat,the major source of heat transfer.With this technology, we can cause anything to retain or reflect heat, thereby remaining warmer or cooler. Applications are limited only by your imagination.

The standard packaging is 10 yard roll, so as our sale price is per linear yard, the minimum order is 10. The material is 59" wide, so you will receive a roll 59" x 10 yds.

 

Temptrol has tiny pin holes specifically to allow it to breath and not trap moisture and is not waterproof. The aluminum film on the one side is a very thin coating, and is not designed to be exposed to the elements.

Temptrol will work wonderfully in a tent, but it would face the interior of the tent. Even with the aluminum facing the interior, it will still block the incoming radiant heat because it is 5% emissive and will not allow the heat striking the tent to emit downward into the air space below.

Other fabrics only absorb heat, delaying it before it reaches you. Temptrol is the only fabric that acts as a radiant barrier to reflect the heat.
