The PS2000 is just like the PS1000 except the platform is a little bit larger. It is a 59"x30" mild steel platform that is pre-calibrated to a digital readout. It is powered by 4 AAA batteries and includes an AC adapter. The maximum weighing capacity on this scale is 2,000 x .1 lb. Optional Indicator Stand Available.

| QUESTION: does the animal have to hold still to capture accurate weight using this product? i noticed your higher quality MT1500WB product questions said that the animal only needs to walk across it and does not have to be held still. we only have 5 cows/5 calves/1 bull operation so don't need a top of the line unit. we cannot place it under a chute either. we're in zip code 30527. Thanks. |
| ANSWER: There is a hold feature on the indicator so that when the animals gets on the scale you may push the hold button and is will hold the weight if the animal is moving around. | QUESTION: Is the scale weather proof. Can it get wet if I remove the indicator head? |
| ANSWER: Both the PS1000 and PS2000 are not weatherproof. They can get wet if the water is minimal ie: from an animal or if it got caught in the rain, but it is recommended that it be dried off and stored indoors. |

| ANSWER: There is a one year warranty and the scale can run on either aaa batteries or ac power. The ideal operating temp is 41° F to 95° F (5° C to 35° C)and I would advise against leaving it out in the rain. |

| ANSWER: You may use them on any solid level surface and you may simply place them underneath your chute and they are ready to use. There are mounting tabs with holes in them so you can bolt them in place if needed. |

| ANSWER: no they can not. To my knowledge there is no weigh bar type of system from any manufacturer that is certified legal-for-trade.
However, the local weights and measures official has the final say. you should check with the local official.

| ANSWER: If the square bales fit on the 59"x30" platform and the maximum weighing capacity is not more than 2,000 lbs than yes you can weigh square bales on it. The warranty is 1 year. |
