| ANSWER: The rule of thumb for cinch length is elbow to elbow on shoulders. This can vary and sometimes based on drop skirt saddle rigging i.e. it must change. This can also vary based on how narrow, wide or fat horse may be.
It should always be parallel with leg from saddle rigging with saddle sitting a a natural position on the back.
It works best of fit without a pad to see if everything is in balance. |
