| QUESTION: i'm having problems with my saddle slipping back, its the same saddle i've used on this horse since he was a colt he is now 13 he seems to be a little thick in the withers that could be way or the saddle i,ve bought several pads that don't solve my problem will theses contour pads solve my problem i'm a team penner , i want him to be comfortable. |
| ANSWER: Because the saddle SEEMED to have worked in the past - does not mean it is working for you now. In order to really help you get to the bottom of the problem and know what is Best pad to consider from Barn World you need to ask a few more questions from Mike at fivestarmarketing@alltel.net.
We would be happy to sell you a pad but there is seems to be more going on and we would like it to be right. |

| QUESTION: Hi. I have a tucker, round skirt, high plains saddle(felt lined)with the enduro-rigging. What would you recommend? I am using the toklat waffle weave ,for tucker saddles, saddle pad currently and believe I need a little more protection due to horse have a sore back? Thank You Brenda |
| ANSWER: Hi Brenda!
Thank you for your interest in the 5 Star Saddle Pads.
We have a pad specifically designed to go with the tucker high plains saddle. It is our endurance/trail pad - square skirts. Since your horse has a sore back, I think that the 7/8" or 1" thick would be what you should consider. The 7/8" will work if you and your gear weigh less than approx. 220 pounds and you don't spend extreme hours in the saddle. If your weight is more than that, or you are spending extreme hours (more than 5-6 at a time), I would suggest going with the 1" since it will provide maximum protection for your horses back.

| QUESTION: Great! Is it possible to order a 7/8" black wool 32x32 square, standard pad with brindle hair on leather? If yes, what would the price be and estimated shipping time? Thank you for your help! |
| ANSWER: Yes, it is possible. Make sure you state whether you want a brown based brindle or a black/white/gray brindle. The perception of what color brindle is varies for each person. Hair on leathers is normally a $15 up charge.
Also when you address the square corners are you talking about true 90 degree corners or the normal softly rounded corners 5 Star uses.
Delivery is available 24 hours after 5 Star receives your or order and often the same day.

| QUESTION: Is this pad available in the full skirt size? |
| ANSWER: Yes! Full skirt is 32" by 32" and is always on hand. |
|
| QUESTION: Will item # 2wb work on agaited horse? I have a mountain pleasure horse |
| ANSWER: Yes: One of the great attributes of this pad is higher contour and wool quality. Of course the first thing with gaited horses is a good saddle fit on the shoulders because the shoulder action has more lift, but with that in mind quality wool allows shoulder movement with any friction and heat buildup, yet maintains great compression protection for superior to foam pads.
Thank you for your interest. |
