| QUESTION: I have mostly ridden with double Navajo blankets. Most saddle pads are used underneath another blanket. Are these designed for the saddle to sit directly on the pad without the use of a top blanket? I would use this for riding on our ranch usually for a half a day at a time. Sometimes, a yearly may need to be doctored, but rarely. What thickness would you recommend, especially if I use a Navajo on top of the pad, if this pad is not used just by itself? Finally, I love the brindle and black combination. Is that brindle readily available. Thank you. Stephen Shadden |
| ANSWER: Hi Stephen,
Yes, brindle is available. And yes, our pads are designed to be used by themselves without any navajo blankets. The contour of our pad helps the saddle stay in place with less cinching, but if you add a blanket, it takes away from the pads ability to do that. For what you are doing, I would recommend one of the 5 Star 1" saddle pads, used alone. Or even one of the Supreme Roper pads, as they are just slightly thicker, usually measuring about 1 1/8" thick. The Supreme Roper pad only comes in the natural (light grey) color though. The 1" can be had in several colors including black.

| ANSWER: Yes, the hair on can be embroidered. If we get the order and the description or picture of the logo asap, and it is ok'd after mock up then it could possibly still be done before Christmas. |
