| QUESTION: what type of plug is used to attach the scale to the readout module? Is it replaceable? |
| ANSWER: The plug used is a 4 pin snap-lock circular connector. It is replaceable however there is a little bit of work involved to it, soldering, etc. The replacement part comes as a pair (male & female). | QUESTION: Since you limit the animals suggested to use this scale, I wondered if there was something inherently problematic with the design vis a vis sheep. No my largest sheep is not 550 lbs, though probably 300 is more likely. Thanks, Becky |
| ANSWER: You can weigh any livestock on this scale as long as it does not weigh more than the maximum weighing capacity and fits on the scale itself. Most people get worried about the size with sheep and hog so I typically like to offer the PS1000 because it has a larger platform size and a higher capacity, but it really comes down to what will work best for you and your needs. |
