| The Q&A on this Product |
|
|
| QUESTION: You say your this has to be installed by a licenced plumber. Can I use any licenced plumber? Or, can you find me one that is familiar with your product in my area in North Carolina zip code 28025. |
| ANSWER: You may use any local licensed plumber for installation. I'm sorry we don't have plumber contacts in NC, but I'll send you the installation instructions shortly for your review. |

| QUESTION: You are from the Mid-West, as I am also (South-Central Wisconsin). This waterer would be outside the barn and exposed to weather and wind from all sides. How well will it hold up (and not freeze up on me) during our bitter cold Winter Temps? I am having a problem with a current automatic waterer freezing up already and it's been a pain in the neck to have to bust and chip ice out of it twice a day every day. |
| ANSWER: The waterers are pre-set to come on when the water temperature reaches 38-40 degrees. They are designed to work outdoors in the winter and will prevent any icing. It will keep the waterer open all winter. |
|
| QUESTION:
whats the difference between a 60-2901, and 2800 models. Outside use intended, 5 horses, temps average 0 to 5 degrees at night. Please reply as I am ordering today!!!!
ngearhart@networkall.org |
ANSWER: The SS2800 is single sided with a 4 gallon capacity.
the SS2901 is double sided with a 6 gallon capacity.
Hope that answers your questions, if not please let me know. Thanks, Rob Sales@BarnWorld.com |

| QUESTION: In winter inside a barn, how much electricity do you think this would pull? I know this is only approximate but want to figure out a possible bill this would run..and it has been a very cold winter up here in North Idado?washington. |
| ANSWER: As a general rule of thumb, If the heater ran 24-7, solid running (which it won't) your approximate cost would be $3.00 for the entire week. We are out of the Midwest, where our temps run much, much colder than ID or WA and if the fountain is protected inside a barn as you state, the unit won't run continuously.
