Horse Boot

The Horse Boot is ideal for continuous soaking when conditions such as abscesses, thrush, puncture wounds and other aggravated foot conditions exist. The boot also relieves pressure when signs of bruises, corns or cankers appear. The soft pliable upper comforts the leg during use and closes tightly just below the fetlock. The boot opens wide for easy on-off application. The durable triple-layered bottom is made of a tough polyvinyl compound making it usable many times over. All Horse Boots are packed with our exclusive Therapeutic Pads.

QUESTION:  I have a mini he had some major back feet problems vet said to get some kind of corrective boot hes walking with hoofs up will these make him walk with hoofs flat hes still a yearling?
ANSWER:  The boot has a flat bottom, so it should aid in helping him walk flat footed, but our barrier boot may be a better product if you do not have to actually medicate to the hoof.

QUESTION:  My vet recommended sneakers for my horse who needs protection riding but can't be shod. I have tried easyboots and they fall off. I cannot find Horse Sneakers except those made by Ethiotics, which are a permanent shoe. I an looking for something removable. Thanks. Claudia Whitman, Mancos, CO

QUESTION:  I am looking for some protective boots for my miniatures. I am using them for pet therapy, but I am limited to where I can take them. Nursing home floors, schools, hospitals etc. the floors are too slippery. would the barrier boot be good for this? The mini horse sneakers and shoes are sooooo exspensive. QUESTION:  I have a horse that has a hoof size of 6" width and 4" long; is it that I am not measuring right? I took a tracing of the hoof and I am measuring as if you were looking at the bottom of the hoof.
ANSWER:  Seems like a strange size for a hoof as it is normally longer than wide, but only you would know if you are measuring correctly.
QUESTION:  Hello, My mini horses's hooves are two inches wide on front. They are even smaller on his back hooves. These do not seem to be small enough, but it says you need the 00 for miniatures. Do the shoes size down? Thanks, Belinda
ANSWER:  Hi Belinda, The 00 size will be too big for a 2" hoof. The diameter across is 3 3/4" and does not adjust down further. If you are having trouble finding a 2" boot for soaking, I would suggest asking your Vet about lining the 00 size with something to absorb the additional space.
