Ready For Concrete
The Crete-HeatTMInsulated Floor Panel System, is an easily assembled modular board insulation, vapor barrier and radiant tube holding grid that allows for simplied installation of hydronic radiant floor heating systems in basements, garages, main floor slab on grade and above grade installations where concrete or gypcrete is normally used.

The Crete-HeatTM Insulated Floor Panel System is 2 7/8" overall in thickness, with 2" of solid EPS foam providing an R-9. Our retrofit or over grade panel provides 2 1/8" overall in thickness, with 1" of solid EPS foam providing and R-6 with a 23 dB sound reduction knob on the lower surface. Each interlocking panel covers up to 8 square feet with fasteners for 1/2" and 5/8" radiant tubing. A 10-mil polystyrene film provides the vapor barrier.

    Make sure sub grade material is + or - 1/4" of level to start. To lay the boards correctly, start at the far left-hand corner and work systematically across the floor as numbered on the sample. The only cut off is for the partition wall. The Crete-HeatTM Panel modular board system by Crete-Heat, LLC form a continuous thermal insulation, and vapor barrier with tube fasteners all in one simplified step.

    QUESTION:  Can you do a gypcrete over pour over this product and if so how thick would it have to be. We have a project where they have concrete structial planks and want to install radiant heat in the top coating that they pour over the planks. Need a answer ASAP.
    ANSWER:  Yes, We do this all the time. 1.5" from flat surface.
