Contoured Navajo Saddle Blanket with 1/2`` Felt Underliner

Approximate size: 36"W x 34"L. Solid color with Black Felt Liner and Wear Leathers. Combines the beauty of a blanket with the contoured fit of a 5-Star pad. This allows the blanket to stay in place better and helps the saddle stay in place better. Every 5 Star pad comes with a label that describes the basic method for cleaning and an all-natural dry-cleaning sponge!

The Q&A on this Product
QUESTION:  I am a very small rider and my horse is also very small, barely 14HH, a 36 X 34 inch pad nearly covers his whole back from withers to tail. I had a saddle custom made to fit him, do you make custom sizes for the navajo style pad?
ANSWER:  No, I'm sorry but the navajo blankets only come in one size and we cannot alter their size.
QUESTION:  I'm just moving to a western saddle from english but understand that a 5-star pad is an excellent investment. Thus, for casual light trail or arena work would this navajo and 1/2" liner be put over another pad or sufficient on it's own? It seems the other way to go would be a 3/4" or 7/8" on their own or with a navajo tossed on top for decoration? Thank you!
ANSWER:  The contoured blanket with it's attached liner is sufficient on it's own. If you decide to go with a pad, then the 7/8" on it's own, or the 3/4" if you intend to throw a navajo on top. Generally speaking, not double padding is a good way to go, because then there can be no chance of slippage and rubbing. Hope this helps.
QUESTION:  If you use the pad liner under the 5 star pads does that liner compress to make your pad not so thick? I would like not over a 3/4" pad. & would I need to get the butterfly shape if my saddle is butterfly?
ANSWER:  The liners will eventually compress somewhat, but they do provide a little extra thickness and cushion for your horses back. A butterfly skirted saddle does not necessarily require a butterfly skirted pad. As long as the pad you use has 1"-2" of pad showing both in front and in back of the saddle, it is OK. Thanks! Laurel
QUESTION:  SDo you just sell the 1/2 felt under liner with wear leathers as I have been looking for one.
ANSWER:  Absolutely, we can do them in any size to fit your needs. Thank you.
