| ANSWER: Yes, Temptrol will block infrared in both directions. Temptrol is nearly totally opaque. Maybe 90% room darkening. You will see a glow of light through it but you cannot discern anything on the outside.
Yes, The blanket is a piece of the Temptrol fabric. It only comes one way. The roll (and the blanket) is 59" wide. The roll is 10 yds. (30 ft.) long if you need enough to make window coverings. |

Could you please clarify the precise content of both the reflective radiant material, itself, and also of the completed blanket itself? In the first part of the description it states that it is polyethylene, but in the q&a before me it states polypropylene....

| ANSWER: Sorry, this description is incorrect. The base material is a non-woven polypropylene. It somewhat resembles a felt material. One surface has been aluminized with 99.999% pure aluminum. The material is perforated with tiny pin holes in order to breathe and not trap moisture next to your body. This material can also be sewn into outdoor clothing and fabric bags to make insulated lunch bags, etc. It can also be used as a window covering to keep heat out in the summer of keep it in during the winter. |

This material has not been tested as a sheilding material for any form of electromagnetic shielding other than for infrared which it reflects at 95%.
