| QUESTION: Would the free exit probe(s)function also as an entrance probe. In other words could I purchase 2 probes and not use a key pad or transmitter ? |

| QUESTION: I have 16 foot 300lb custom iron gates and they are hung on welded on ball bearing hinges with grease certs... my 5 year old can open it with no effort..will this opener work for this application? Also it will open at least 20 times a day should I upgrade the solar panel to 10 watts? |
| ANSWER: The opener will handle the gate with no problem. If it will be opened 20 times a
day I would suggest going to electric. If electric is not an option, I would put
the 5 watt panel that the unit comes with and add an extra 10 watt panel to go
with it to be on the safe side. 20 times a day is what the panel is rated for.

| QUESTION: When using exit probe, does the gate close automatically, if so what safety device is their to protect a child from getting jamed in the closing position, also what is the best way to set up access for emergency vehicles, Regards Ted. |
| ANSWER: There is a sensitivity adjustment on the operator that makes the gate open up

department and ask them what they prefer. |

| QUESTION: We are considering using this opener in place of a cattleguard. Question: do you have to use a remote control to open the gate? If so, every visitor desiring entrance must have a transmitter? Is there a manual mode that can be used if the person wants through and does not mind getting out to open the gate? Thanks! |
| ANSWER: Yes, there is a button on the side of the unit that can be turned on and off
with a key. You may also want to consider a keypand on the outside and a free
exit probe on the inside. The free exit probe is buried in the ground up to
100' down the inside of the driveway, and detects vehicle presence when vehicles are exiting the property, and opens the gate automaticlly. That is the best way
to do it. With the button on the side of the box enabled, anyone can open the
gate. Let me no if you have anymore questions. |
