| ANSWER: I have installed many of these units on 16' ornamental gates. They have no
problem with them. I have even installed them on 18' gates. We have been selling
this brand for about 18 years now. This is probably the best gate operator that
is on the market. I would advise though for gates 14' and longer to use the
Model 1550 gate operator. It has a soft start and soft stop function that will
really save the life of the post that the gate hangs on. |

| ANSWER: You will not have any problem with that. The solar panel does not discharge
the battery at night. It has a built in diode that prevents that from happening. Power can not run
the opposite way. |

| ANSWER: It uses a deep cycle marine battery. |

Each gate opener comes with 2 remotes.
