The Q&A on this Product QUESTION:  how do these solar panels open a gate like the big red farm gate? ANSWER:  The solar panels do not open the gate. The solar panel is for charging the battery on a gate operator. QUESTION:  Does this solar panel come with anything (mounting hardware, instructions, wiring harness)? thanks, Ernie ANSWER:  It does come with a galvanized mounting bracket and hardware to mount the panel to the bracket. It does not have hardware to mount the bracket. It would depend on what you were mounting it to no what hardware you would need. If you were mounting it to wood, all you would need is two lag bolts. Mounting shold be a pretty simple job. It does come with a wiring harness consisting of two wires, one for the positive and one for the negative posts on your battery.
