| 20 foot Cattle Guard with Fixed Wings |
This cattle guard features less expensive Fixed (welded-on) wings. Fixed wings are more difficult to transport, so shipping costs are greater. Bolt-on wings cost more initially, but you save on shipping costs. If you need bolt-on wings, please order a standard Flat or Boxed cattle guard. Please select the wing features based on your needs and your proximity to FOB Cleburne, TX. |

| QUESTION: can you send me shop drawings for install, I am having 4 purchased by camp san luis obispo and will be installing them. |
| ANSWER: I do not have any shop drawings made up. All cattle guards are built by hand
not using any jigs, so the cattle guard could very just a little bit. The best
thing to do is wait until the guard is on site, so that you can take your exact
measurements. Also the height could very due to the shortage of pipe in our area. Cattle guards are built using either 3 1/2" OD pipe or 4 1/2 OD pipe. I do not no wich one yours will be built with until I actually start to build it. There is
no difference in the strenght of the pipe. Using 4 1/2 we use 9 pipes, and using
3 1/2 we use 11 pipes. We just have to build it with wich ever we have on hand at
the time. |
