Perfect for dairy or cattle operations and pasture feeding. Feed, mineral, grain or silage with your loose, large, round or square hay bales. Designed and built so that hay that falls past the first layer of bars falls down onto the feeding pan, keeping it in the feeder. This is attained by the inner rows of bars. A V-type center pushes feed to the outside of the feeder where livestock can reach it, but the second set of bars keeps it contained. The end result is a savings of 1/4 to 1/2 of hay bale.

In addition to the actual hay/cost savings, the use of large bale hay significantly reduces Labor costs and these Hayhuts help to minimize pasture stress in overstock situations and during poor forage growing conditions.

The Hayhut is a robust, durable, and UV stabilized covered hay feeder made of polyethylene and hence it cannot rust and does not require any maintenance unlike the majority of metal feeders.

We now have a new plastic horse feeder called THE TRANS-FEEDER. It can be used to create a multitude of different sizes and types of hay feeders. It even has a floor option. It can be quickly assembled to make a single small square bale feeder or it can also be used to make feeders for many different sized large bales of hay. All floor and wall panels are all the same part. They are sold in pairs.

This hay feeder completely eliminates mane rubbing on horses at the same time allowing larger animals (horned) easy access. Gussets between hoops provide safety so animals don't get legs/hooves caught between hoops. Easy drop pin lock allows the feeder to wrap round bales eliminating lifting or dropping bale inside.
