Splint and Skid Boots

Skid Boots are designed to aid in the prevention of injury to the fetlock, sesamoids and pastern areas of the hind legs. The flexible boot stays in place comfortably, is nonrestrictive and provides excellent protection against chafing and burning. The Skid Boots feature contoured shock-absorbing skid cups. The boots are made of a triple-layer PVC construction for maximum durability. The cushioned interior stays snug and resists slipping.

he Ultimate Sports Boot helps in the prevention and rehabilitation of bowed tendons, sore muscles, hyperextension of the fetlock, ligament injuries and all affected lower leg and joint problems. Two parallel support tubes properly positioned on the back side of the cannon bone provide excellent ligament and tendon support. The lower strap provides upward support of the fetlock. This helps to relieve stress on joints, ligaments and tendons during training and exercising. Three Velcro® closure.
