Hoof stand junior

Since our European customers wanted a smaller version of our Hoof-it® 2-in-1 Standard Hoof Stand, to be used for ponies, smaller horse breeds, and older horses, we designed the “Junior.” The Junior cradle fits the hooves of ponies up to hoof size 2/140 mm. If you need to work on larger hooves as well, we have designed the Junior base to accommodate the larger cradle and post of our Standard Hoof Stand. Interchanging cradles, center posts and bases is an innovative feature and also eliminates the need to carry two Hoof Stands.

May be ordered with Standard Size Cradle Option Below

This 2-in-1 Hoof Stand features a new modern design which integrates the post and cradle to create a "two-in-one" unit. This design allows the user to switch from the hoof cradle to hoof post in one easy step.

Note: this item cannot be shipped outside the US.

Designed by farrier Steve Samet, the stand features a new modern design which integrates the post and cradle to create a "two-in-one" unit. This design allows the user to switch from the hoof cradle to hoof post in one easy step. The cradle and post are covered with a shock-absorbing rubber material that provides a comfortable support for the horse, while the wide base unit provides added stability and safety for the user.

Hoof Stand Assembly Instructions

how to insert the post into the hoof stand 3. After A (stand) and B (cradle) are inserted into C (green base) you will need to make a one time tension adjustment. Tighten the clamping mechanism tight enough so that when clamp is in the "locked" position it will hold part A (the stand) up without any slippage. Do this by pulling the clamp handle out straight (in a loose or "unlocked" position) then, while holding the left nut, turn the handle clockwise until you hit the desired tension (test by pulling the hoof stand (part A) up and lock clamp, making sure it is holding the stand up tightly). When you have found your desired tension, it will be one easy step to switch from stand to cradle and adjust the height of your stand or cradle.

TESTIMONIALS:
I am commenting on how much I really like the "Hoof-it Hoofstand." Personally, I think it is a fabulous tool for all horse care providers, not just farriers. I am a competitor on the Circuit on the West Coast, primarily California, and have been using the "Hoof-it Hoofstand" for quite some time. When I first purchased it, I had no idea how much I would eventually come to rely on it. As a horseman (not a farrier) my use of this tool is a bit different. The grooms and myself have found this particular Hoofstand to be the ideal tool for inserting/removing caulks from our horse's shoes and general hoof care. It is even useful when applying oil/dressing to hooves. It really takes the strain off of our backs and helps to free up our hands, making it easier to complete the task. I have been surprised at the frequency with which other people have inquired about this hoofstand after seeing it around our barn and barn isle. A handful of equestrian friends and even a few farriers have purchased and are now using the same "Hoof-it Hoofstand." I have yet to hear a less than positive comment about this product. Speaking for myself, when I find something that I really like, and works the way that it is supposed to, I usually want to share that information with others in an effort to help them in their search for the right tool for their needs. I hope you find this "Hoof-it Hoofstand" to be as useful as I have.
